Route 66 RV Resort Water and Sewer Extension

Wilson & Company provided creative engineering solutions to minimize development costs at the Route 66 RV Resort. Our engineers routed a main water loop around the park to maintain water pressure and to provide fire protection. Water service lines were routed down to the RV pad sites with T connections at each pad location, allowing multiple pad sites to be serviced from a single tap off the mainline.  This approach minimized the cost by reducing the total length of 8” piping to be run. The process was duplicated with the sewer line to help reduce the number of maintenance holes for the sewer system.

Our team utilized a single 3D model across multiple disciplines, providing benefits critical to project success, including accurate coordination between disciplines, quality take-offs for pricing validation, and efficient workflow leading to compliance with project schedule requirements. Many details were reviewed for cost compliance before inclusion within the contract documents to ensure the BSCG’s intent was met. By using a unified CAD platform across multiple disciplines, internal resources, video conferencing, and years of in-house expertise, Wilson & Company delivered the RV Resort project design to BSCG on time and with high quality.
