Kelly Fredell, PE, has joined Wilson & Company in the Colorado Springs office as a Project Manager.

Kelly has 16 years of experience and brings a broad progressive experience as a civil engineer specializing in transportation engineering planning and design, focusing on lighting design, geometric design for highways and arterials, and planning level design analysis. She manages roadway construction, including coordinating with agencies and design teams; understanding complex utility relocations; state and local permitting; and contractor oversight.
Her representative project experience includes co-authoring the Draft and Final Environmental Impact Statement for the New Pueblo Freeway project in Pueblo, CO, while concurrently serving as the design manager; co-authoring the Environmental Assessment for US 24 West Corridor in Colorado Springs; serving as engineering design manager for the Dillon Drive Overpass in Pueblo, CO; and providing lighting design on I-25 in Colorado Springs at Bijou and Cimarron interchanges.
Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University, and is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, Nebraska, and Washington. She is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES).
In her spare time, Kelly switches into mom mode to her two daughters, Carly (5) and Cambry (3 ½). Her hobbies include going to concerts, doing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time at her family’s cabin near Creede, CO.
